- Artistic director of Darwin Theatre Company in the Northern Territories of Australia. Directed three productions for the company in 2005 and responsible for artistic planning and programming. In 2006, directed Shakespeare's Othello, starring Tom E. Lewis as Othello, the first Aboriginal actor to play this role. Later restaged this production in Townsville. Also in 2006, directed 'The Road to Minyerri', a community performance event in a remote Aboriginal community in the NT's Roper Valley region. In 2007, played the role of Professor Cornelius Crabbe in the DTC/JUTE co-production of Stephen Carleton's award-winning play 'Constance Drinkwater and the Final Days of Somerset'. This play was performed for the Darwin and Cairns Festivals. - Presented 'The Urban and the Infinite', solo exhibition of paintings for Gallery Sometimes, Darwin. |
